Construction Underway as Expansion Continues
With a goal of having most of the construction wrapped
up by the end of November, and a new 950-ton injection molding press arriving in December, construction crews are busy working on three separate projects.
The new addition to the manufacturing plant is the largest undertaking at the moment. This modest 12,000 sf. section will allow for the shifting of the warehousing area inside the plant further south while also adding capacity for inventory.
Another necessity for this addition is to make room for new machinery that is expected to arrive in December. This includes a new press as well as new technology that will aid in the automation required to tackle a new project that is arriving that is adding approximately 10 new employees.
The new employees will join the recent hiring of about 20 that have been added over the past 4-6 weeks. The increased staff has precipitated a few other modifications.
Within the next week or so, a remodeled break room for employees will debut with some new features. Additionally, the company acquired some additional land across the street from its current parking lot to add more spaces. This extra lot is expected to be ready for use by the end of the month but will not be totally completed until the Spring.
